WHAT IS A CHAKRA?

Chakras are the seven energy centres of the body — a concept rooted in ancient Indian spiritual traditions and now widely embraced in modern wellness practices. The word "chakra" comes from Sanskrit, meaning "wheel" or "circle," and refers to the spinning wheels of energy that run along the central channel of the body, from the base of the spine to the crown of the head.

When your chakras are balanced and flowing freely, you feel energised, grounded, and emotionally well. When they become blocked or out of alignment, you may experience physical tension, emotional imbalance, or a general sense of being "off."

THE SEVEN CHAKRAS

ROOT CHAKRA (MULADHARA)

Located between the eyebrows, the third eye chakra governs intuition, insight, and inner wisdom. When balanced, you feel clear-minded and deeply intuitive. Crystals: amethyst, labradorite, lapis lazuli.

CROWN CHAKRA (SAHASRARA)

Located at the top of the head, the crown chakra governs spiritual connection and higher consciousness. When balanced, you feel connected to something greater than yourself. Crystals: clear quartz, selenite, moonstone.
