Trimming your wick before every burn is one of the most important things you can do to extend the life of your candles, improve their scent throw, and ensure a clean, safe burn. An untrimmed wick burns too hot, produces excess soot, causes uneven wax pooling, and can significantly shorten the life of even the finest candle. A trimmed wick — kept to approximately 5mm before each burn — produces a steady, controlled flame, a cleaner burn, and a far superior fragrance experience.

HOW TO USE:

  • Before each burn, trim your wick to approximately 5mm (around ¼ inch) above the wax surface.
  • Allow the candle to cool completely before trimming.
  • The curved cutting head catches the trimmed wick, preventing it from falling into the wax.
  • Discard the trimmed wick before lighting.
  • Wipe clean with a dry cloth after use.

HOW TO & CARE INFO

Keep the wick trimmed to 1/4 inch at all times. It is suggested to trim the wick every 4 hours of burn time.
When wick trimming, you should always extinguish the flame, let the candle come to room temperature, and trim the wick before relighting.
Simply trim the wick, before lighting each time, on every use.
