SHIVA LINGAM

SHIVA LINGAM — one of the most sacred stones in the world. Hand-gathered once a year by Hindu priests from the Narmada River in India — one of the seven sacred rivers of Hinduism — shiva lingam stones are then hand-polished into their distinctive egg-like form by craftsmen in the nearby village of Khambhat. The warm reddish-brown jasper, banded with white and grey, represents the union of the divine masculine and feminine — Shiva and Shakti — and the creative, generative power that arises from that sacred union.

'I am whole. Within me, the masculine and feminine are in perfect balance and union. I am a vessel of creative, sacred life force energy.'

Shiva lingam works primarily with the root and sacral chakras, with a powerful activation effect across the entire energy system. It is one of the most powerful stones for kundalini awakening — the rising of the sacred life force energy through the chakra system — and is widely used in tantric and yogic practice for this purpose. Its energy is both deeply grounding and powerfully activating, creating a sense of vital, embodied aliveness.

It is also a stone of fertility, creativity, and new beginnings — its egg-like form carrying the energy of potential, gestation, and the sacred moment before birth.
